I am an autistic artist living and working on Wadawurrung Country in Ballaarat, Victoria. Canvas is an extension on my body and painting, for me, begins where language fails. I paint full rolls of canvas by hand and tear them into strips, using the torn pieces as brushstrokes in improvised compositions.
Following two sold out solo exhibitions, I completed a Master of Fine Art from RMIT University and was the recipient of the RMIT Mary Oliphant Prize for Best Graduating MFA Presentation 2022. I was added to the 2023 RMIT Vice Chancellor’s list for Academic Excellence for finishing in the top 2% of graduates. In 2023 I was a finalist in the Arthur Guy Memorial Painting Prize at Bendigo Art Gallery and in 2026 a finalist in the Geelong Contemporary Art Prize at Geelong Gallery.
I have previously studied Art Theory, Art Curatorship and Fine Art practice and have accrued 20 years of experience in professional arts management and administration.
